My mission is to create compelling experiences for users
and profitable products for businesses.

I bring 11 years of experience as a designer across multiple verticals -
e-commerce, payments and banking.  Through the years, my design work strives to create that vital connection between brand and identity, customers' desires and business goals.

Behind the resume

I started my career as a copy writer in Mumbai, India after a graduate degree in broadcast communications. While in Mumbai, I caught the design bug and enrolled in the M.S Information Design program at GeorgiaTech, Atlanta. Ever since then, I have been working as a designer wearing the same hat with multiple names at various times - Information Architect, Interaction Designer, UX Designer, Product Designer.

Most of my UX work has centered around e-commerce - from the merchant side (PayPal) as well as the customer side (Hotwire, Uniqlo, Walmart) with a few  forays into designing for virtual worlds (IBM) and banking (Bank of America).
In the last 3 years, I have intentionally evolved my design skills to include UI and prototyping, guerrilla user research and the technical skills for mobile-first responsive design.

I seek to work with a small to medium size companies on products that have a degree of complexity with a need for rapid iteration at scale.
